Notice from Z-kai Learning Lab on Coronavirus (COVID-19)

This is a difficult time for everyone, and we try what we do best – providing quality learning experiences for every child. Should you have any questions about our online lessons and in person lessons, please contact us at info@zkai-usa.com.

Guideline for Walk in Visitor and Clients

1. Everyone is required to put on a mask before entering the learning center.
2. Please use the hand sanitizer (kept at the left-hand side of the entry door) before touching any display robots, PC, tablet or doing paperwork.
3. Please try to remain 6 feet apart with anyone present, while visiting the center.

Zoom-Up Math (Age 9+)

“Learn mathematics, the Japanese way”

Zoom-Up Math Course is tailored to develop students’ mathematical thinking, problem solving and explanation skills that are necessary for their future success in STEM. This course is based on our successful and proven math contents that challenge students to apply mathematical concepts. It develops deeper understanding of mathematics and gets them prepared for algebra and geometry in middle school.

Coding(Age 12+)

“Design and make ideas happen”

Design and develop own iOS App or learn Java Script Coding, Python Coding skills in cross-curricular environment.

LEGO® Education SPIKE™ Prime is the most recent and exciting addition to STEM field. Students will be excited to experience assembling, coding and engineering through the Latest STEM curriculum. They acquire creativity, critical thinking, and problem solving skills.

Robotics Advanced (Age 11-13)

“Build robots and show ideas with LEGO® Education Mindstorms® EV3”

Students develop mathematical and engineering process while controlling multiple motors and sensors in Z-kai’s curriculum with LEGO® Education Mindstorms® EV3. Students learn multiple approaches to solve problems and to make their ideas real.

STEM & Literacy (Age 5-11)

“Read and Create”

Reading books carefully and creating own stories with our uniquely crafted STEM materials help students improve their literacy, critical thinking and problem solving skills. Students will develop both literacy and interests in STEM topics.

Scratch Special (Age 5-11)

“Creative learning cycles with cross-curricular knowledge”

Students learn basic programming concepts while they play with Scratch programming language, by creating own stories, games and music. Through Scratch programming projects and other exciting cross-curricular activities, they relate programming to the real world and enhance creative thinking in our creative learning cycles.

  • Tuition: Each course $198 per month (1 lesson per week)

*Typical 1 month cycle consists of 3 lessons and 1 Individual Project in a project-based learning environment.

*Individual Project is a class for own projects including cross-curricular activities and presentations.

Once the registration process is completed, we’ll send you PayPal invoice by e-mail and documents about attendance for your courses. When you visit Z-kai Learning Lab for the first time, we’ll ask you to fill the Student Information Form to attend the course.

 

*If you don’t have a PayPal account, you can still make a payment by using your credit cards or debit cards on PayPal website. We’ll also take personal checks, if you prefer.

*Please feel free to ask any questions regarding registration process.

 


Important Notice and Policy

  • The child care services being offered by Z-kai USA Inc. are licensed by the Department of Early Education and Care (EEC).

 

System for Attendance

  • We will record each child’s arrival and departure time in a check-in sheet every time children check in and we confirm attendance hours per day and attendance days per month are not exceeding the regulatory limit for each child at the check-in.
